Since its construction in 1891 it has been home           to the Qld Museum, the Qld Art Gallery and currently the Qld           Youth Orchestras and Youth Choir.             It holds fond memories for the artist as she remembers as           a child visiting the building on a school excursion when it           housed the Qld Museum. Her son was also a member of           Qld Youth Orchestras which make their home in the building.
